CYCLE MONITORING/IUI
OHIP covers the monitoring (blood tests and ultrasounds) for the IUI cycle. However there are aspects of your treatment that are not covered:
Medication
$300 – $2,000+ (depending on your protocol)
Sperm Wash for IUI
$775 per cycle
$100 for second wash, if ordered
NON-FUNDED TREATMENT CYCLES
Non-Funded IVF Cycles
Non-funded IVF cycles include your experienced care team, monitoring appointments (blood tests and ultrasounds), egg retrieval procedure, sperm preparation, IVF and/or ICSI, extended embryo culture, time-lapse incubation, assisted reproductive technologies, electronic witnessing and embryo freezing.
Medication is not included and can range from $5,000 to $10,000+ depending on your protocol.

Non-funded FET cycles include your experienced care team, monitoring appointments (blood tests and ultrasounds), electronic witnessing, and the frozen embryo transfer procedure. Medication is not included and can range from $1,000 to $3,000+ depending on your protocol.

Non-Funded Egg Freezing Cycles
Non-funded egg freezing cycles include your experienced care team, monitoring appointments (blood tests and ultrasounds), electronic witnessing, egg freezing, and the egg retrieval procedure.
Fertility medication is not included and can range from $5,000 to $10,000+ depending on your protocol. Please check with your extended health plan for coverage.

Depending on your personalized treatment protocol, additional fees may apply for added services.
Embryo Storage
For non-funded cycles: Complimentary for the first 6 months after embryo freezing, then $65 per month (or any part thereof).
For funded cycles: $925 for the first 6 months (non-prorated), then $65 per month thereafter (or any part thereof).
Egg Storage
$2,000 for 5 years, due at time of freezing, or $780 annually, beginning 1 year after freezing.
For funded fertility preservation: $925 for the first 6 months, due at time of freezing, plus $780 annually.
PGT-A Biopsy

PGT-SR and PGT-M pricing will be discussed on an individual basis.

FUNDED IVF CYCLES
The Ontario Government funds 1 IVF cycle for eligible patients under 43 with a valid Ontario Health Card. This includes monitoring, egg retrieval, ICSI (if indicated), assisted hatching and embryo freezing.
There are some aspects of your treatment that are not covered by OHIP. The following patient-paid costs may apply to your funded IVF cycle:

Payment Policy at TRIO
Please be aware that the payment for your treatment cycle must be made in full before you start the stimulation phase. Medications cannot be returned. TRIO fees are in Canadian funds and all fees are subject to change.
