Dr. Akanksha Kulshreshtha, MBA, MD, FRCSC (OBGYN/REI)
Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Specialist (REI)
Dr. Kulshreshtha is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility specialist dedicated to compassionate, individualized fertility care. She completed her Health Sciences degree at McMaster University, followed by medical school, OB-GYN residency, and a fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility — all at the University of Toronto.
Before medicine, Dr. Kulshreshtha earned an MBA from McMaster and worked as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. This background informs her thoughtful, systems-based approach to healthcare, with a strong appreciation for transparency and ethics. She currently serves as a Board Director for Ontario Medical Association Insurance.
Her research focuses on recurrent early pregnancy loss, PCOS, and the uterine microbiome. She is the recipient of the Knox Ritchie Research Award from Mount Sinai Hospital and a CFAS Training Grant, and has published and presented nationally and internationally. She also teaches at Toronto Metropolitan University as part-time Clinical Faculty and is deeply committed to women’s health advocacy, particularly within the South Asian community.
Dr. Kulshreshtha is deeply committed to personalized fertility care that accounts for biological factors, personal beliefs, and financial considerations.
