Reina Zatylny, MSW, RSW (She/Her)

Reina understands many of the concerns that people face as they experience infertility, having gone through fertility issues herself. It’s her personal goal to help her patients stay emotionally healthy as they build their families, whether they are experiencing infertility, or are members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. She helps couples cope with the challenges of infertility, and also works with egg donors, sperm donors, embryo donors, and surrogates as they fulfill their goal of helping someone else become a parent.

Reina leads online support groups at TRIO that provide a place to share experiences, learn more about treatments, and receive emotional support. She has also written articles about developing resiliency, coping with the two-week wait, and maintaining relationship unity. Reina has conducted original research about the psychological impacts of infertility on couples, and she has developed an innovative counselling tool to help couples cope with stresses in their relationships.

Reina is Co-Chairperson of our Ethics Committee. She is also a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSW), the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS), the Equine-Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA), and EMDR Canada. Reina has a private practice with offices conveniently located in downtown Toronto, Thornhill, and Scarborough.
